At Atlantic Energy, just using your house design we can calculate how much your annual running costs will be.
We can then suggest cost-efficient changes to the design that will improve the energy performance and reduce running costs.
For each change that we suggest in the report we will:
- estimate the cost of making that change
- estimate how much money that change is likely to save you annually
- advise on how long the change will take to pay for itself
It makes sense to do this at design stage.
It is a lot easier to incorporate improvements during construction and it is also cheaper. Your annual running costs will be reduced so you will save money year-on-year. The improvements we suggest will pay for themselves within a number of years.

When an architect works on a house design with a client they use our expertise in energy-efficiency and renewable technologies. We advise them on appropriate technologies, for example, whether or not solar water heating is suitable for a particular house design and client.
