Energy Audits
Reduce Your Home-Heating Bill
Along with the rise in the cost of oil and gas, the cost of heating your home has risen steadily over the last number of years. It now seems certain that the current high prices are here to stay but that does not mean it is impossible to reduce your heating bill. The opposite is true. In most Irish houses it is possible to make simple, cost-effective changes that will reduce your heating bill by 20% or more.
Survey
The purpose of an Energy Audit is to help you to reduce your heating bills in the most cost-effective way possible. Our specially-trained engineers will carry out a survey of your house examining all the factors relevent to energy use. Using the information gathered they will draw up a report explaining in a non-technical way the changes you can make to cut your energy bills.
Atlantic Energy are completely independent so we will only suggest changes that are suitable to your house.
At Atlantic Energy we are committed to improving houses in a cost-effective manner. This means that we will only ever suggest changes that will pay for themselves over a reasonable length of time.
Report
For each change that we suggest in the report we will:- estimate the cost of making that change
- estimate how much money that change is likely to save you annually
- advise on how long the change will take to pay for itself
As well as financial benefits there are sound environmental reasons for carrying out an energy audit. A reduction is energy use means a reduction in carbon dioxide emission which is something we should all strive for in the current climate.
